OncePDF is built upon a proprietary software architecture that enables client-side processing of PDF documents directly within a web browser. The underlying source code, WebAssembly (WASM) modules, JavaScript engines, APIs, and overall system architecture are the sole property of Lumewise Technology.

Any attempt to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our software, or to bypass the security features of the Service, constitutes a severe breach of this Copyright Notice and will result in immediate legal action.

Beyond the software itself, the visual presentation and informational content of OncePDF are also fiercely protected.

4. User Uploaded Content

At OncePDF, we strongly believe in digital privacy and the sovereignty of your data. We do not claim any copyright, ownership, or intellectual property rights over the PDF documents, images, text, or any other files you process using our tools.

• Your Documents Remain Yours: You retain 100% of all intellectual property rights in your original files and the resulting edited or converted output files.
• No Licensing Granted to Us: Because our core processing occurs locally in your browser, you are not granting us a license to host, display, or modify your files on our servers.
• Responsibility: While you retain ownership, you are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to possess and process the documents you load into OncePDF. We do not monitor or take responsibility for the legality of your content.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use OncePDF strictly for its intended purpose—processing and managing your digital documents. Under this license, you agree NOT to:

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content hosted on OncePDF infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Please note: Because the vast majority of our tools operate entirely locally in the user's browser without uploading files to our servers, we physically cannot remove documents from a user's private device. However, if infringing content is publicly hosted on our blog, forums, or cloud-storage features, we will act swiftly.

How to file a report:

Send a written communication to our legal team at legal@oncepdf.com containing:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification of the specific URL or location where the infringing material is located on our servers.
• Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email).

All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on this website are the trademarks of their respective owners. Mention of third-party products, companies, and websites on OncePDF is for informational purposes only and constitutes neither an endorsement nor a recommendation.
