6. Browser-Native Data Sovereignty

Unlike traditional PDF editors, OncePDF operates on a "Privacy-by-Design" architecture. The vast majority of document processing (including OCR, sanitization, and rendering) occurs locally within your browser's environment. This means your sensitive documents are never uploaded to our servers for these operations. In the event a server-side helper is required, all data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is purged from our systems within 60 minutes of completion.

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
