4. Log files and analytical data

OncePDF maintains standard procedure for log files. When a user visits a website the information collected by log files includes Internet protocol(IP) address, Browser type, Internet service provider(ISP) , Date and time, Referring/exit page and Number of clicks.
These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking user activity on the website   and gathering demographic information. These logs are used solely for security, analytics, and website performance purposes.

5. cookies and web beacons

Like other websites, oncepdf uses “cookies”. Cookies help to store information including preference of visitors and pages on websites that  visitors accessed or visited.

6. Browser-Native Data Sovereignty

Unlike traditional PDF editors, OncePDF operates on a "Privacy-by-Design" architecture. The vast majority of document processing (including OCR, sanitization, and rendering) occurs locally within your browser's environment. This means your sensitive documents are never uploaded to our servers for these operations. In the event a server-side helper is required, all data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is purged from our systems within 60 minutes of completion.

8. Children privacy protection

Protecting children’s privacy is one of our priorities is adding protection for children while using the internet.
